SLU-PP-332

In plain English

SLU-PP-332 is a small molecule, sold alongside peptides, that switches on ERR proteins, the same switches exercise flips to build endurance. In mice it made muscles behave as if they had been trained, burning more fat and running longer.

What it's used for

  • Endurance and stamina
  • Fat loss
  • Metabolic health

Benefits

In animal studies, mice given SLU-PP-332 ran about 70% longer and 45% farther than untreated mice, and obese mice lost fat and improved blood sugar without changing their diet. Users report more stamina and gradual fat loss.

How it works

In simple terms: it tells muscles to act trained.

It activates estrogen-related receptors (ERRα, β and γ), which turn on genes for building mitochondria and burning fat. Muscles shift toward endurance-type fibers. Despite the name, these receptors do not respond to estrogen.

Development history

  • 2023: First results published by Thomas Burris’s group at Saint Louis University (the “SLU” in its name).
  • 2024: Further mouse studies on obesity and metabolism.

Typical protocols

Educational information only, not medical advice. The information below describes how this peptide has been used in research, on prescription labels or by users. It is not a recommendation. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping or changing anything.

There is no established human dose. These ranges are what users commonly report.

Use Dose Frequency Length
Endurance and fat loss 250 mcg–1 mg Daily 4–8 weeks

Cycling

Commonly run for 4–8 weeks, then a break.

Administration options

Subcutaneous injection.

Reconstitution and dosing calculator

Usually comes in 5 mg or 10 mg vials. It does not dissolve easily in water; follow the seller’s mixing instructions.

1Peptide in the vial

The total amount printed on the vial label.

2Bacteriostatic water added

More water makes each dose a bigger, easier-to-measure draw. It does not change how much peptide is in the vial.

3Dose per injection

Use the dose from your protocol or your clinician. 1 mg = 1,000 mcg.

4Your syringe

All three are U-100 insulin syringes: 100 units = 1 mL. Smaller barrels make small doses easier to read.

    Side effects and safety

    • Users report increased heart rate, feeling warm or restless, and trouble sleeping.
    • No formal safety data in people.
    • Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
    • Likely to be treated as prohibited in competitive sport, like other exercise mimetics.

    Common stacks

    • MOTS-c: another exercise-mimicking compound.
    • GLP-1 peptides: combined by some users for fat loss.

    Storage

Powder: refrigerate or freeze. After mixing: refrigerate at 2–8 °C and use within about 3 weeks.

    Compare with

    • MOTS-c: a mitochondrial peptide that also mimics exercise.
    • 5-Amino-1MQ: a different small molecule studied for fat loss.

    Frequently asked questions

    Can it replace exercise?

In mice it copied some effects of endurance training. It has not been tested in people, and training has many benefits it does not reproduce.
